Emergency Room Medical Malpractice

I want to share two recent articles on medical malpractice: http://www.mmsend1.com/link.cfm?r=147384079&sid=11724514&m=1190771&u=ATLA&s=http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12/19/us/19tttort.html?_r=1&src=twrhp, and http://www.mmsend1.com/link.cfm?r=147384079&sid=11724515&m=1190771&u=ATLA&s=http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/latestnews/stories/121910dnpronationalharm.33a9e0b.html.

Both of these articles bring to life some of the real life negative consequences of medical malpractice "tort reform."  The first article explains how injured patients in Texas emergency rooms have extreme difficulty finding lawyers who are able to bring their claims because of Texas' tort reform laws.  The second article discusses the problem of malpractice by residents at teaching hospitals.
